Enrichment Group #4!
Every 5 weeks, I have a new group of about 8 students from kindergarten to 2nd grade. We take photos of each other in silly poses the first week. The next 3 weeks we use a website called Lunapic to manipulate and play with our photos! Once the students understand using the site, they have a blast! On the 5th week, I create a DVD slideshow of their work and we watch it- sometimes 3 times!

2nd Grade Edvard Munch Projects
After discussing warm and cool colors, students were directed to use stripes of warm colors on the top 1/3 of their paper, cool colors in the middle and black and brown on the bottom. We cut out and glued their photos onto the paper when they were done to create their "scream" drawing.
Edvard Munch Projects!
Kindergarten through 6th grade learned about Edvard Munch-his life and artwork. Each grade did their own version of his "Scream". Ask your child why the "person" in the drawing is afraid.
6th Grade's Project:
Things That Make Me Scream!
Students used pastels on card stock paper. We discussed cool and warm colors. Then they used pastels to create a background using warm colors on top, cool colors in the middle, and brown, black, and white on the bottom. They looked through magazines for things that make them want to scream- in a good way or a bad way!
