Happy Birthday, Jackson Pollock!!
Today would've been his 103rd birthday! Although he died in a car crash at 44 years old in 1956, he still is a major artist studied and admired today!
Ask your child about him and how he painted!!
Preschoolers did marble paintings and used teamwork to create their paintings!!
Third grade used their Chromebooks to create Pollock-style digital paintings on http://www.jacksonpollock.org.

Second Grade Reindeer!
These were drawn step-by-step in pencil and then we went over the pencil lines in black crayon. We colored it in using watercolor crayons. The last step was to use water and a brush to smooth out our colors. Fun!
